Mixed Media Tag: Autumn Mushrooms

Hello! Welcome to another post! I really like the first days of Autumn when we see colour changes in nature with all beautiful yellows, oranges, reds from greens. Being inspired by it, I created a mixed media tag this time. You can watch the video to see how I created it here or from my YouTube channel:

I used Ranger tag and covered it with Linen texture cardstock to have a texture already to start with. Then I used Distress inks to give colour to my tag. I blended three colours to have a graded look. As a focal point, I used Lavinia stamps. I chose the whimsical mushrooms, that are really cute ๐Ÿ™‚ I stamped and clear embossed them to have a crisp look. I then used some dots stamp by Lavinia again to give more interest to the background.

I cut them with leaving white border around them to separate them from the background. I used powder pigment paint to colour them. This way I created a watercolour look. And I used Liquid pearls for the dots on the mushrooms.

I made my ground with pattern paper by Stamperia. I used stitched hillside die cuts to create the shapes. I sticked them with foam tape to have a raised look.ย Then I placed my mushrooms on the ground.

I used a little punch for the leaves. I inked cardstock with various Distress inks and punched a bunch of leaves and sticked them on the ground.

Lastly, I added a ribbon that I saved from a chocolate pack ๐Ÿ™‚ And I used a heart embellishment I found in my stash.

I hope you like the project! If you do, please don’t forget to leave me a comment or like the post. Hope to see you again on my blog and my YouTube channel.
