Hello! Welcome to another post. This time I wanted to create some cute and simple cards you can send to kids, so they enjoy all the little details 🙂 If you want to watch the video to see how I created them, here it is. And as usual, you can find the full list of supplies at the end of the post or at the description area on YouTube:
I started with this card with this adorable tree on it. Well, it was a normal tree which became adorable with a couple of details 🙂 I downloaded this image from http://www.graphicstock.com. But, you can find use any tree that you like. I also used Lawn Fawn stitched dies to create a little snow bank, and placed my tree behind it. For fun, I added wiggly eyes and gave her a smile. Then I also decorated it with mini Christmas bulbs.
All that’s left to do was to stamp the sentiment, and I chose it from a Jilibean Soup stamp set. And the card is ready.
For the second card, I chose to go for a coloring style. I adore this stamp set by Stampendous. These guys are really cute 🙂
I wanted to create a scene of Santa bringing happy mail and gifts. I stamped my images and colored them with my Copic markers. I again placed a snowbank just for added interest. I sticked my images with foam tape, so they are dimensional. Again for some fun elements, I used my snow marker on the beard of the Santa, and when I heat set it, it created a fluffy texture. I also punched some hearts with Martha Stewart punch, I used glitter pen on them, and of course glossy accents.
I used the same stamp set for the sentiment. And the card is ready.
I hope you enjoyed these two simple and cute cards. Hope to see you again, and don’t forget to subscribe, comment or share. That’s how I know you like my projects and you want to see more 🙂 See you next time!
