Art Journal page: Wild & Free

img_3240

Hello! Welcome to another post! Here’s a page that has a spirit of spring for people like me who miss it desperately 🙂 I created a simple background with a very light colour of Distress paint, and a little decorating with texture paste and stamping. But, all the fun was to create that border full of flowers 🙂 If you want to watch the video to see how I created it, here it is. You will find close up pictures and list of supplies down below as well.

I printed this flower from http://www.graphicstock.com , where you can find thousands of royalty free images to print and use.
All these flowers are created with a Martha Stewart punch. So, it wasn’t too bad to create lots of them 🙂 I also coloured them easily with a Dylusions spray. img_3243

I love the quote, I wish we were all a bit more wild and free 🙂 I used Nuvo Crystal drops in the centre of my flowers to give them more interest and to bring the colours together.

I also covered my page first with plain tissue paper to give a bit of texture, you can see here clearer. This beautiful stencil is from The Crafter’s Wrokshop applied with modeling paste mixed with some colour.

I hope you liked the page! Please don’t forget to subscribe to my blog and YouTube channel to see more 🙂
