Hello! Welcome to another post. I really love this page because of its colours reminding me of spring, and the sentiment on it 🙂 So true creating makes our days so much more fun!
You can watch the video of this lovely page below to see how I created it step by step. Supply list is down below or at the description area in YouTube.
It’s been long time I haven’t used my Silhouette Portrait. I cut these beautiful flowers of files from Silhouette design store. I really like using digital cutter more than die cut machines. It’s true it’s more expensive, but I think it’s a good investment because afterwards, you don’t keep buying dies. Also, you can cut the designs as small or as big as you want. To be able to arrange the size is amazing according to me.
I created these flowers stacking them on top of each other. When sticking them, I only used glue in the middle, so the petals are up, creating some dimension. I also used liquid pen in the middle.
I used Izink to create the background. They are pigment inks, quite bright colours with a bit of shimmer in them. They are simply gorgeous. I blended 3 colours going from yellow to orange.
I used 2 alphabet sets to stamp my sentiment. Also I used a stencil and black ink to create this splash effect.
I used another stamp from Stamperia that has brushes on, to complete the story.
And the page is finished. I hope you liked it. Please don’t forget to subscribe or comment if you like my artworks. I love reading them 🙂
