Hello! Welcome to another post. Here’s another art journal page with bright contrasting colours. Red is not one of the colours I use a lot, but I wanted to get out of the comfort zone and splash it on the page 🙂 You can watch the step by step tutorial video here and you will find list of supplies at the end of this post, and at the description area in YouTube:
I used Dylusions paint for the background together with a Prima texture stamp.
I love this stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop. It has a city landscape with details and without details. For this time, I used the one without details.
The sentiment is written with 2 stamps, one is my mini wooden alpha set from Dovecraft and the other is Tall Text from Tim Holtz.
To bring everything to the front, I used lots of gel pen in white.
To uplift the page a bit, I used a couple more blue shades contrasting the red and stamped it to the background.
I printed the bike from internet 🙂 coloured it with pens a bit.
I embossed a few words here and there to bring colour and interest to the page with a bright blue.
I hope you like it. If you did, don’t forget to share this post with your friends or subscribe to my social media. The videos are in YouTube always. Thanks for visiting and see you next time!
