Art Journal: Escape

IMG_4167

Hello! Welcome to another project. This time I wanted to create an art journal page using one of my colouring book pages that I coloured. This is a very cute page I coloured from Magical Jungle by Johanna Basford. I love to colour to relax and play with colours. And sometimes it’s a good option to use those elements in art journals. This elephant was on a page alone and there was nothing at the back, so I just cut it and gave him a jungle to walk in 🙂 As usual, you can watch the tutorial here to see how I created the page. You will find list of supplies down below or at the description area in YouTube:

I used Prismacolor pencils to colour my elephant. I chose kind of a monochromatic look.

For the background, I used some napkins with leaves. I coloured the page with Distress paints.

And I used some embellishments to complete my jungle scene.

I hope you liked it. If you did, please don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and blog to see more. And don’t forget to share with your friends 🙂 See you next time!
